On Tuesday, May 10, Dr. Fisher accompanied a family friend, John Lacey, as his “guardian” on the Greater Peoria Honor Flight. We wanted to share these marvelous photos of the day with all of you. Dr. Fisher is so pleased to have been a part this wonderful day and be able to help veterans experience this honor.

Dr. Fisher is a Veteran of the US Army and his father, Curtis Fisher DDS, was a WWII veteran who was injured in the line of duty. Dr. Fisher has the highest regard and appreciation for all military personnel, but especially for the brave veterans of World War II.

About the Greater Peoria Honor Flight

According to the Journal Star newspaper article of February 15, 2017, the Greater Peoria Honor Flight honors American veterans for their sacrifices. The veterans are taken to Washington to visit their respective war memorials at no cost to them. Each veteran is accompanied by a volunteer guardian who is responsible for ensuring a memorable trip for the veteran.
